An iPhone is a powerful tool, but it’s also a luxury item. When you spend $1,000 on an iPhone X, it’s not just for the powerful camera and fast processor. You’re investing in something that looks and feels fantastic.

Unfortunately, protecting that investment with a case typically obscures the iPhone X’s intrinsic beauty. The opposite occurs with Rmour Silver Corners for iPhone X, a new line of protective “iPhone jewelry” inspired by medieval suits of armor.

Designed to accentuate the corners, camera and other edge features of the surprisingly fragile iPhone X, Rmour Silver Corners also add a layer of critical protection from bumps and drops. It’s a unique way to protect Apple’s most expensive iPhone ever, and the Rmour’s creators already exceeded their goal on Kickstarter.

It’s easy to see why. The minimalistic, metallic iPhone enhancers attach simply with an adhesive. And they come in five different designs — Ares, Knight, Luna, Infinity and Classic — each of which turn your personal device into a stylish accessory.

Take the Ares design, for example. Inspired by the work of late architect Zaha Hadid, Ares is a set of four intricately designed polygons made of enamel and 925 sterling silver, plated in white gold. They attach elegantly to the edges of your iPhone X, adding a degree of bling that does not detract from the device’s intended look and feel.

At the same time, the Ares protects the iPhone’s vulnerable corners from potentially devastating drops. This design comes in three colors: black, white and multicolored (the latter is a recently unlocked Kickstarter stretch goal).

The Rmour Silver Corners Knight variant takes the form of subtle lining for the iPhone's top and bottom.

Another variant, the Knight, consists of two smooth strips that lay over the top and bottom of the iPhone X. The straightforward design projects a definite futuristic chic, and makes a great complement to your pricey iPhone’s look. Like the other models, the Knight adds a subtle but significant degree of protection. The lining is feather-light, adding no extra heft to the phone.

Rmour Silver Corners take just seconds to apply, and leave room for optional enhancements, like a tiny silver lanyard hook.
