Hot on the heels of today’s iOS update for the public, Apple has come out with a fresh set of beta updates for developers with the release of iOS 11.2.5 beta 1, along with new betas for Apple Watch and Apple TV too.

Developers can download the first betas for iOS 11.2.5, watchOS 4.2.2 and tvOS 11.2.5 from the Apple developer center. They can also be installed as over-the-air updates once you download the proper installation file from Apple to your iPhone or iPad.

Apple rarely issues .5 updates so today’s release is a bit special. Based on the release notes for iOS 11.2.5 though, it appears that the software update mostly focuses on under-the-hood improvements and bug fixes.

The last major iOS update — iOS 11.2 — came out over a week ago bringing Apple Pay Cash to the masses. Apple also promised to rollout iCloud support for iMessage by the end of 2017, but it doesn’t look like that has been added to this build.

Apple also released a new beta update for the HomePod today, but the smart speaker won’t be available to the public until early next year.
