The development of iOS 11 seems to be nearly complete ahead of Apple’s big iPhone keynote next week.

Developers received the 10th beta build of iOS 11 this morning, coming just one week after Apple surprised developers by making the ninth beta build available for testing.

Registered developers can download iOS 11 beta 10 from the Apple developer portal, or via an over-the-air update if you have the previous beta installed. Public beta testers can also download the new beta today as well from Apple’s public tester page.

The release notes for the beta build show that it’s light on new features. All of the additions in iOS 11 beta 10 appear to be bug fixes and performance improvements. Developers have discovered a number of little tweaks to all the built-in apps.

Most of the significant changes for iOS 11 were made by the fifth beta of iOS 11, so we’re not expecting anything major in this build. Apple said it plans to release the new updates to the public this fall. Usually, the company publicly launches new iOS updates a week or two before the release of a new iPhone, so this could be one of the last beta updates we see as Apple heads into its September 12 event.

It looks like Apple is done with the big UI changes and feature updates in the betas. Instead, the company is focusing on fine-tuning the builds so they’re running nearly flawless this fall.

With the end of the beta testing phase quickly approaching, developers should receive the gold master version any week now.
