Apple seeded its fourth beta build of macOS High Sierra to developers today, along with new betas of watchOS 4 and tvOS 11.

The new builds come two weeks after Apple dropped the last builds on developers that brought a bunch of new bug fixes and under the hood changes. Apple didn’t add quite as many major changes as it did on iOS 11 beta 4, but there are some notable improvements.

Registered developers can download the new beta updates directly from the Apple Developer Center. macOS High Sierra can be installed via a software update in the Apple menu if you have the previous beta installed.

What’s inside macOS High Sierra beta 4

Release notes for macOS High Sierra beta 4 don’t mention any major UI changes. Apple did make a number of improvements to Safari by bringing back Bookmarks in the Favorites Bar and adding search suggestions.

Owners of the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar can use a new flick gesture on the volume and brightness controls. You can quickly swipe left or right on the icon to increase or decrease the brightness and volume without bringing up the slider.

watchOS 4 and tvOS 11 mostly received a lot of bug fixes. Apple didn’t mention any big UI changes or feature additions in the release notes for the two updates. We’ll see if any minor changes were included once we get all our devices running on the new beta updates.
