Apple is offering students a massive discount on a bundle of pro apps that includes Final Cut Pro X, Logic Pro X and more.
The total cost of the apps included in the set would be just under $630, but Apple is offering them all to those in education for just $199.
This is the first time Apple has offered a bundle of apps for educators and students, and it’s perfect for creatives studying music, filmmaking and animation.
Officially named the Pro Apps Bundle for Education, it includes the following five titles:
- Final Cut Pro X
- Logic Pro X
- Motion 5
- Compressor 4
- MainStage 3
At $199, this is incredible value — especially when you consider that Final Cut Pro X is priced at $299.99 on its own, while Logic Pro X is $199.99. The total amount saved if you buy the bundle is $430.
“Education pricing is available to college students, students accepted to college, parents buying for college students, faculty, homeschool teachers, and staff at all grade levels,” Apple said.
After purchasing the bundle, you’ll get an email that includes promo codes for each app, which can be redeemed in the Mac App Store. Apple says the codes are usually delivered in one business day, “but may occasionally take longer.”
