Lots of us were excited to keep our Notes private when iOS 9.3 added the feature to Apple’s mobile devices. We all store private details in our notes such as bank details, pin numbers and more within the notes app for convince. Knowing this information is now more secure than ever is one less thing to worry about.

I’m more worried about a different meaning of “securing” my notes. I want to be able to use Time Machine to get back versions that accidentally got changed or deleted.
What happens if you forgot what you used as a password?
Found out that if you forget your password there is no way in hell your going to unlock your notes.
