Jeb Bush thinks Apple Watch is flawed, but still cool

Poor Jeb Bush. He can’t even discuss the Apple Watch and its shortcomings without coming off as overly exasperated.

“It’s not as intuitive as the other Apple products,” he said in a recent video interview with Business Insider. “The battery gives out too quick,” he continued, exhibiting the kind of head-bobbing body language he usually reserves for queries about his flailing presidential bid or Donald Trump’s oversimplified answers to complex questions.

Like many of his political stances, Bush’s views on the Apple Watch seem pretty middle of the road. He likes his Apple smartwatch well enough to keep wearing it on the campaign trail — and trusts that Cupertino will improve the product with subsequent versions. That’s pretty much how I feel about it, too (although I won’t be calling it an “iWatch”).

Maybe he was just annoyed wasting precious time talking about a tech product rather than his run for the White House. Luckily, Bush loosened up a bit as he got further into his take on the Apple Watch.

“I don’t have time to learn all the applications,” he said, chuckling a bit, “but it’s cool.”

You can watch Bush’s Apple Watch “review” below. (Stay to the end for a roundup of his favorite iOS apps.)
