Trying to get your canine BFF to look at your iPhone to capture the loving bond between the two of you is difficult, if not downright impossible.
Luckily, this new attachment for your iPhone or other smartphone, called the Pooch Selfie (because of course it is), is going to the dogs.
Funded at a crazy five times the amount originally asked for, the Pooch Selfie attaches to the top of your iPhone with a tennis ball to make your fetch-obsessed companion look right at the camera when you’re taking a quick dog selfie with the Great Dane.

The attachment will fit on most tablets and smartphones and has clearance for both front and rear-facing cameras, letting you get the shot you need whether you’re in the picture or not.
Every Pooch Selfie comes with its own tennis ball toy that squeaks, because of course your dog isn’t going to stay focused for too long, especially when that tennis ball doesn’t move.

The Pooch Selfie funding project ends October 16, so get in there now to pledge your support and get one for $13 before they disappear like the earlier reward tiers did.
Of course, if canine selfies aren’t your thing, there’s always O-face selfies for your more private moments (NSFW).
Thanks, Shayna!

Great idea, until the dog goes for the ball…
I’m thinking a piece of meat will work a lot better. That is, if you have a well trained dog. “stay … stay … STAY!
