For years, Pop Chart Lab’s Insanely Great History of Apple has been one of our go-to Christmas recommendations for the Mac fan in your life. Now those devious bastards have updated it with all of Apple’s latest and greatest products, right before the holiday.
We’ve been plugging Pop Chart’s infographic since the first version was released in 2011. It’s a rainbow-hued evolutionary chart of almost 35 years of Apple history, from the original Apple 1 to the new MacBook, from the Newton to the iPhone 6 Plus.
With the latest update, the Insanely Great History of Apple chart has become better than ever, updated with the best new Apple products — including the upgraded Apple TV, the iPad Pro and the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. It also features a totally overhauled design that is a laser-engraved throwback to the System 6 operating system
Out of print since the 2.0 iteration, the 3.0 version of the Insanely Great History of Apple chart features more than 500 products in all. It’s a little more expensive than previous versions, though. Produced using a 15-ink archival giclée process, the 3.0 version costs $90 a print.
