Minecraft is no stranger to beautiful user-made worlds, but this recreation of the deep sea feels special, even by Minecraft standards.
It actually feels like you’re in a submarine, sinking deep beaneath the waves into an underewater world.
Deep Sea (appropriate title, right?) is an underwater Minecraft world built over the course of six days by just nine people. But despite that, it’s absolutely stunning.
Not convinced? Behold!
According to the creators of the mod writing on Planet Minecraft:
“The concept behind this project was exploring the parallels of Deep Space and Deep Sea. Although Space is considered as mankind’s final frontier, even today much of the deep ocean is a mystery to us and host to creatures just as alien as those we might imagine on other planets.
Completely stunning, and with a full-fledged backstory to boot, Deep Sea for Minecraft can be downloaded as a mod for Minecraft here.
