The Rumor: Apple Watch is going into production one month ahead of schedule.

The Verdict: Too early to tell. Taiwanese news sources say Apple Watch maker Quanta is on a hiring spree to fulfill the 24 million units Apple wants in 2015. Production is supposed to begin in January but we doubt we’ll see the Apple Watch land on stores until Spring.

I think by now Gene Munster would have came up with a new concept photo other than the original Siri icon which changed and the background which changed too.

As much as I’d like an Apple TV, I think it would be better to just come out with a more fully functioned AppleTV box and keep the current model as the entry level and come out with different boxes with different functionality. I think it would be cool to have a box that not only connects to an existing cable TV service, but also internet TV, a DVR, sensors and the ability to run games, other apps, video conferencing, etc. I can see them coming out with a ~$400 box for a higher end setup. The problem with TVs is that they aren’t a TV mfg, and these TV mfg have to constantly pump out new models, drastic price cuts to move stale inventory and i don’t know if the margins are there. I don’t think Apple wants to destroy their own profit margins with a TV product.
