With the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer hitting everywhere this weekend, anticipation for the new movie — and thirst for all the details and rumors we can handle — is at an all time high. What are the story details? Who are the characters in the trailer? What about all the original cast members?
Set 30 years after The Battle of Endor (seen in 1983's The Return of the Jedi), The Force Awakens is directed by hotshot and super Star Wars fan J.J. Abrams, fresh off his success with the Star Trek franchise. If the trailer is anything to go by, the new films are in fantastic hands. What the final product will be is any fan’s guess, so here are seven crazy rumors about the details coming to the films next December.

But still likely and building 6 more films surrounding the dark side and light side again.
“J.J. Abrams, fresh *OFF his success”
J.J. ruins everything his gets his hands on. Used to be a big fan of Star Trek until I couldn’t see anything in the battle/action scenes ’cause the cameras were moving too much/fast. Not all of us can handle the visual roller coaster. If you’re supposed to feel like your in the thick of the action (and you actually were) you won’t get to see all that should be seen. Or what we want to see.
Yeah but be grateful George Lucas isn’t getting his hands on this.

That awkward moment when Disney stated they will not be including the expanded universe in the new trilogy so the jacen and jaina theory isn’t even worth mentioning.
Here’s the rumors I think will come true:
1. The Force awakening means that all sorts of common folk (like Boyega and Ridley) who maybe had a little midichorloians in their bloodstream, will become Force sensitive. This of course will degrade the specialness of being Force sensitive but it’s just the kind of kewl crappy idea Abrams loves. This alone will destroy the movies and cause fans to riot.
2. Adam Driver is Jacen Solo, but not named Jacen. There is no Jaina. He’s an X-Wing pilot who dabbles in the dark side on the sly, and the parents are clueless. He won’t be straightforwardly evil, but teeter-tottering a lot. He built the fritzy. antique looking lightsaber in the trailer.
3. Luke is a hermit who hasn’t been heard from in 30 years.
4. Luke will go temporarily darksidey and kill Han, probably at the end of VII. Han is trying to protect his darksidey son, not-Jacen. Another rumor that sounds just like the crappy fanficcy stuff Abrams goes for.
5. One of the characters Serkis is playing is a super powerful personification of the Force that woke up and now is directing traffic. So this isn’t exactly a rumor, more like a guess what Abrams will do that will completely honk fans off.
