Tweetbot, one of the most popular third-party Twitter clients out there, has been updated with full support for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
Today’s version 3.5 update also includes iOS 8-specific features like interactive notifications. Share Sheet integration now means you can send links to the app from anywhere in iOS 8.
Here’s the full change log:
– Optimized for iOS 8
– Optimized for the iPhone 6/6+
– Added Interactive Notifications
– 1Password Support
– Share Sheets Support
– Bug Fixes
In a recent blog post, Tapbots explained the status of its app development for iOS 8. A long-overdue update is still in the works for Tweetbot on the iPad, and two of Tapbots’ older apps will also be updated for iOS 8 and come to the Mac after OS X Yosemite ships.
Tweetbot for iPhone costs $4.99 in the App Store, and today’s update is free to existing users.

All the bloggy types are talking about Tweetbot 3.5, but it’s not actually in the app store yet. At least not here in America.
It’s in the US app store.
read later “Pocket” is not showing off in the app, what a shame,
The iPad version is taking a long time. The official Twitter app on the iPad is the worst piece of software ever made.
How does the 1Password integration/support work?
I just tried to share a tweet to Dayone and it just shared the twitter link. I so wish it would copy the text and image.
The developer abandoned support of it’s other paid tweetbot 2 app in favor of a new $5 tweetbot 3 app that all users must purchase in order to continue receiving updates. Money first, customers second. Expect the next major update to come with a price tag also.
I have no problem paying for a great app like tweetbot.
Hopefully you like them enough that you don’t mind paying for it two or maybe 3 times should they decide to charge users for the upgrade to Tweetbot 4.
I would pay. There not going to run there company off of pixie dust.
Can’t reply without logging into the phone, I thought it would be like messages.
Perhaps they can now update their Mac app too…
