The 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 will finally be revealed on September 9.

Months of leaks and hundreds of rumors are finally set to culminate with the official unveiling of the iPhone 6, and according to Re/code we’re only a month away from the big day.

Sources have told John Paczkowski that Apple has scheduled a big media event for Tuesday, September 9, where all the details of iPhone 6 are expected to be revealed.

The iPhone 6 will reportedly come in two sizes, with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display units that should feature an A8 processor, improved camera and possibly a sapphire glass display.

Apple declined to comment on the rumor, but Paczkowski and the Re/code staff have a solid track record of getting Apple scoops in advance. So if you’ve been dying for an upgrade, it looks like Apple is nearly ready to take your money.

Update: Both The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg have echoed Recode’s report.

Am I the only one to think the bezel-less iPhones depicted are UGLY?

Am I the only one who thinks the much tighter icon grid depicted in all these renders makes no sense since the iPad Air doesn’t even have such a dense grid? If they wanted to use up more screen space with more icons, they could have done that long ago on the iPads.

I really like the lack of bezels on the side. Makes the screen feel bigger and gives the phone a more updated look. Bezels have been getting smaller and smaller with each iteration. With thin layer of sapphire glass, iP6 should be an incredible touchscreen experience.

Only thing I don’t like, is that it looks like the current iPod Touch with its aluminum casing. Unlike the iPod Touch however, there’s a ridiculous outline on the top and bottom where the antennas went on iPhone 5S.

People are dumb. The people who are complaining about the lack of bezels are the exact same people who said iPad Mini was too small. Now we all know that iPad mini is very popular. iP6 bezel-less design is the way to go just as iPad Mini was a great decision. People don’t do well with change. This why Steve Jobs was so adamant about showing people what they need before they realize it.

It is just my opinion. :-) I guess it is just so different from what I am used to seeing. That doesn’t mean I couldn’t/wouldn’t get used to it.

Tim Cook will take the stage and say:
