Huawei is planning to unveil a number of new devices at Mobile World Congress next week, and for some strange reason, the Chinese company thought it would be a good idea to tease them with a fake iPhone running an embarrassing Siri clone.

The one-minute promotional video appeared on YouTube today, and promises a trio of new Huawei devices at next week’s event. “Show me something really amazing,” the guy with the fake iPhone says, before his cringeworthy digital assistant teases “a new tablet with a beautiful slim design” that has a “huge battery” for “days of use.”

It also mentions “a smartphone with an amazing front camera,” and another “multimedia tablet that gives the ultimate entertainment experience.”

The most embarrassing bit is at the end when the guy asks, “what are they Fruit or Some song?” — obviously in reference to Apple and Samsung — to which the assistant replies, “No. They are Huawei. It looks like Huawei is ready to amaze the world again.”

Can you remember the last time Huawei amazed the world? I certainly can’t, but we’ll be at Mobile World Congress next week just in case.
