FiftyThree’s Paper app is probably the best drawing app out there for the iPad. If it’s not the best, it’s certainly the sexiest. Artists have created some stunning drawings with Paper since it was released last year. Today, a big update to the app highlights the work of its users and adds a much needed feature: pinch-to-zoom.

Paper’s creators have been working on the proper implementation of pinch-to-zoom that doesn’t just zoom in on the entire canvas. Instead, zooming in Paper 1.3.1 focuses on a specific region, like a fine detail on a character’s face.

The new “Made With Paper” gallery is a live collection of popular work that has been created with the app. It’s inspired by a Tumblr of the same name.  “One of the biggest joys for us over the last year was seeing what people are making with Paper,” FiftyThree told The Verge, “So we decided to move our Made With Paper stream into the app for all to enjoy.”

Paper is available for free in the App Store. You can unlock different brushes as in-app purchases.
