mwc2013bug-coaBARCELONA, MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS – Bluetooth speakers are great in the kitchen. But the the Josiah from Kwamecorp is possibly the best kitchen speaker ever. Not only does its beautifully minimal styling fit right into any kitchen, but it’s fashioned from ceramic, and can even act as a snack tray.

The speaker also comes as a matching DAB radio, but as that costs £20 more than the plain speaker ($515 instead of $485), and everyone has the whole internet radio thing on their iPhone anyway, why bother?

Especially as the Josiah comes with a pair of cutouts in the top. On the Mobile World Congress stand, these had plants in, but you could fill them with delicious snacks, or drop your phone in there, or use them as you use your fruit bowl – to store mystery keys and old bent paperclips.
