If you haven’t already got more Final Fantasy than you can handle on iOS, then prepare yourself for Final Fantasy All The Bravest, a new Square Enix title that’s hitting the App Store tomorrow. Already available to those in New Zealand, this is a “touch-action RPG in which you continuously battle enemies to advance through the game’s many stages.” If you’re a Final Fantasy fan, it’s likely to be another worthwhile purchase.

All The Bravest brings back the Active Time Battle system for a “pick-up-and-go” RPG that boasts massive battles, a whole host of characters and enemies, and social networking features.

“Defeating foes earns you the experience points you need to level up, which in turns grants you character slots to add more and more members to your party,” the game’s App Store description reads. “Combat is based on the classic Active Time Battle (ATB) system of the FINAL FANTASY series. Every character possesses an ATB gauge that displays the time remaining until that character can execute an action. When the gauge is full, simply tap or drag your finger over the character to attack.”

Once every three hours, the “Fever” option will appear, and players will be able to attack without waiting for their ATB gauges to refill. Your aim at this point is to deal as much damage as you can before the battle fever ends.

As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock 20 different jobs, including warrior, monk, red mage, and more. Each job brings its own attributes to the battleground, where you’ll encounter all kinds of classic Final Fantasy foes. You’ll be able to track your collection of every character, enemy, and item with in-game catalogs.

All The Bravest looks like another must-have for Final Fantasy fans who want to enjoy the series on the go. Look out for it in the App Store tomorrow, January 17, priced at $3.99.
