Apple is currently holding its earnings call for Q4 2012, and now we’re hearing that many of you are experiencing iMessage problems around the world. Despite the fact that Apple is saying all systems are fine on its iCloud status page, it seems that many can’t send or receive iMessages. Game Center and FaceTime also seem to be down for many in different countries, namely areas in North America and Europe.

We’ll update this post when we hear anything about the outage being resolved. In the meantime, let us know if iMessage or other iCloud services are down in your area.

Here’s a story from Sam, a Cult of Mac reader in New Zealand:

Woke up this morning and iMessage was working. Fell asleep and woke up an hour later and it wouldn’t work at all. Boyfriend complained of same thing on his iPhone 5. Mother called me just before saying it wouldn’t work on her 4S, and a few other friends are complaining about it on Facebook too.”

Update: We’re hearing that iMessage is being restored in many parts of the world. It should start bouncing back slowly but surely.
