The downside to buying a new Mac with a 2880 x 1800 display is that it’s not easy to find content that matches such a high resolution. All of your old Charlize Theron wallpapers you found on Google Images are going to look blurry and pixelated and just awful.
Fortunately for you, we’ve put together a gallery of high-resolution NASA images that look terrific on the new MacBook Pro’s Retina display.
Each image measures 2880 x 1800 pixels, so it’s perfect for your new machine. Just hit the download link below each one. All images are courtesy of Rob Sheridan on Flickr.

There is actually a really high-quality website that features wallpapers for all sorts of screen sizes, including Retina Display. “Interfacelift.com” check it out! All wallpapers are submitted by photographers and reviewed.
I must be a space geek because I already had most of these downloaded from wikipedia.
Doesn’t this mean you’ll need to have your RMBP set to native 2880×1800? Or will the “Retina 1440×900” setting allow 1 for 1?
