As expected, iOS 6 will be available to developers today in the first release preview. Stay tuned for our first look.

It’ll work on the iPhone 3GS and later, iPad 2 & iPad 3, and iPod touch fourth-gen.

It’s coming this fall, along with the iPhone 5.

Awesome, can’t wait to try out this tasty iOS 6 beta. If anyone wants to install it without having to pay for a full dev account you can register your UDID to install:

No iOS 6 for the iPad 1?  Very disappointing.   Can anyone please explain why? How does the 2-year old iPad 1 compare to the iPhone 3GS which would make this not possible? :(

Notice the “It’s coming this fall, along with the iPhone 5.” Is this an official statement that the iPhone 5 will definitely be coming this Fall? I sure hope so…

Looks very sweet but mad the iPad 1 isn’t included.  The 3GS is older then the iPad 1 so this doesn’t make sense at all.

Is iPad 1st Gen not good enough for iOS 6??
