Namco’s classic arcade fighter SoulCalibur is finally making its way to the App Store this week. Having been announced way back in October, we’ve been itching to get our hands on it for three months now, and we’ll be one of the first to grab it when it arrives on Thursday, January 19.

SoulCalibur for iOS will offer 19 different fighters and a number of different game modes, including arcade, time attack, survival, extra survival, practice, and museum modes. There’s no sign of a multiplayer mode, according to Touch Arcade, but we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for a future update that introduces this feature.

The title will also feature Game Center integration and will be available for the iPhone and the iPad. If you’re playing it on the smaller device, however, it seems you’ll need an iPhone 4 or an iPhone 4S.
