Best Buy has launched a new ad that hopes to lure Apple fans into its stores this Christmas. In addition to Macs, iPads, iPhones, and iPods, the humorous “Everything Apple at Best Buy” ad also includes an appearance from old St. Nick himself.

The clip is clearly aimed at Apple fans looking to spend their hard-earned cash on new gadgetry this holiday season, but perhaps unaware that Best Buy has “all the hottest Apple gifts, and the professionals to help.”

While many customers are quick to turn to their local Apple store for new Macs, iOS devices, and accessories, it seems Best Buy might be the place to go to avoid lengthy queues and grab bigger discounts this Christmas.

In the 30-second clip, a Best Buy employee demonstrates a FaceTime call on an iPad 2 to a customer who decides that she doesn’t need Santa to provide all the Apple products her family desires this Christmas.

I wouldn’t say they’re “luring” people away from Apple stores. It seems that they just want people to know that they’re authorized to sell all Apple products.

    What a horrible advert.

I thought so too until she started drinking his milk and gave him that look.  I actually chuckled….and I usually HATE Best Buy ads.

It’s funny they would advertise their love for Apple.  I’ve witnessed, on more than one occasion, Best Buy employees pushing customers away from iPads to Galaxy Tabs, Xooms, etc with 4G hotspots.  I don’t know if they pay a commission or SPIFF on hotspot sales, but is sure seems that way.

And I’ve seen, on many occasions, Best Buy employees push people toward purchasing an Apple product…

    That’s good to hear

Then they can push people into their stupid over priced protection plans and everything else that is retarded Horrible Buy forces on people. You know, like charging you setup your iPhone when Apple, Verizon, ATT, Sprint or anyone else does it for free.
