Here’s the story behind Connor and his Apple gear:
“I have my $10,000 iTunes gift card that I won in 2009 in the Billionth App Contest. I stuck my iPhone to the center Macbook’s screen. My case sticks to glass. The grey box up top is what the gift card came in. I also threw in a bitten apple to resemble the logo :) All of this isn’t mine, as most of it belongs to the rest of my family.”
Ryan is using the iPad for “Charlas,” meaning a visual aid and teaching tool for public health and medicine with the local community in Honduras. The term “charlas” is a spanish translation for “chats.” As a means to convey a public health message, the medical team Ryan works with utilized the iPad to help with translation.
