What is it?

SplashShopper is an app that allows you to make shopping lists of all kinds on your iOS device or Mac (and Windows to if you are so inclined).  The lists can be managed and synced across platforms with the Mac OS X or Windows companion software. If you are Santa Klaus or someone who cannot live without lengthy complex shopping lists in your life you’ll find SplashShopper to be very useful.

Is it any good?

The app will allow you to manage lists that include, but are not limited to grocery, gift, and wine shopping, to do items, or a list of music or movies you need to buy or rent. The possibilities are practically endless so the lists you can think of for your shopping expeditions can be made right inside the app or in the companion application on your computer. Later you can sync the list between your devices. Just make sure you’ve set aside enough time to work on them.

SplashShopper was a bit overwhelming for me, since I like simple lists that I can quickly create, work through, and mark as completed. I find myself happy enough using the built-in iOS Notes app and the notes will now sync along with my contacts, etc. in iTunes and MobileMe.

The bottom line is that if you are a list maniac and want the most complicated and feature rich shopping list app I’ve found so far then you won’t go wrong with SplashShopper.

Where can you get it?
