OS X Lion Apps Are Already in the Mac App Store

Lion is just around the corner, and there are already compatible apps showing up in the App Store. Apple asked developers to start submitting apps for Lion a couple of days ago, and Apple has already approved some Lion-compatible apps for the Mac.

The newest speculation is that Lion will drop on July 26th. That’s nearly two weeks for devs to get their apps submitted and ready.

OS X Daily noticed one app in-particular, WordCrasher, that already has Lion’s full-screen and Resume features built in. MacStories notes that some other apps in the Mac App Store have added Lion support for mere compatibility, and some also introduce new features in the app’s update.

A couple others:

BusyCal

Shortcuts

Apple should keep approving updates for apps in the Mac App Store as Lion’s launch grows nearer. It will be interesting to see the first apps hit the App Store that are made specifically for Lion.

I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, LiveCent.com

Apple said Lion would be available in “July”, and in market-speak that always means July 31.    The original iPhone was said to arrive in “June” and it went on sale June 30 if I recall correctly.    So all the speculation that Lion would arrive on July 1, 5, 12, or even the 15th  falls right into their plans.   I could be wrong, but I’m going with the July 31 date.

The same thing applies to the arrival of iOS 5.   Apple has publicly slated it for “Fall”, which can be any date up until the first day of Winter, 2011, which is Dec 22.    And that’s when I expect it to roll out, just in time for Christmas.

I don’t believe you need Google Sync at all with 10.6+ OS.

If you follow the instructions it shows how to add all the stuff using OS X and not Google Sync.
