Guess what’s just been seeded to developers? The Gold Master of OS X 10.7 Lion… the last developer seed before Lion becomes available for download to all Mac users through the Mac App Store. What a way to start off the holiday weekend!
With the Gold Master now live, it’s looking certain that Apple will officially release Lion in the next couple of weeks. The two dates we’ve heard repeatedly are July 6th, or July 19th. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for the 6th, huh?
To install Lion Gold Master, you need to login with a developer account and claim your redemption code, then enter it into the Mac App Store. You can’t just upgrade Developer Preview 4 through Software Update. We’ll let you know if we see anything new!

I seriously doubt the 6th. That leaves only 5 days (counting the weekend – would SJ really make his troops working the holiday???) to put the final touches on Lion.
