Daily Deals: MacBook Pro, MacBook and iPod touch

We close the week with a familiar trio: MacBook Pros (2.66GHz 17-inch screen), more MacBooks (13.3-inch 2.4GHz) from the Apple Store, and the iPod touch ($149 for an 8GB). Along the way, we also offer a laptop case for your MacBook, plus the MyPlaylists app for your iPod touch or iPhone.

The Apple Store still offers discounted pricing on its factory-refurbished, 2nd-generation Apple iPod touch MP3 players. (With free shipping, all are at the lowest total price we’ve seen, most by a significant margin.) A 1-year Apple warranty applies, the same as new iPods. Sales tax is added where applicable. With activation of new voice and data plans, AT&T Wireless has refurbished models of the Apple iPhone 3G on sale, with prices starting at $49 with free shipping via 2-day delivery. (Each is $50 off and tied with last week’s mention as the lowest total price we’ve seen for these refurbished iPhones.) Sales tax is added where applicable. It features compatibility with AT&T’s 3G network, built-in GPS navigation with Google Maps, enhanced enterprise support, a 3.5″ touch screen, at least 5 hours of talk time, and more. Expercom offers the now discontinued Apple TV 40GB, model no. MA711LL/A, for $189 with shipping around $10. This media streaming device displays 720p widescreen video and features a 40GB hard drive, 802.11g and 802.11n wireless, Ethernet, and HDMI, component video, and RCA audio outputs. The iTunes App Store offers downloads of Jonathan Teboul’s MyPlaylists for iPhone / iPod touch for free. (That’s a $1 drop and the lowest price we’ve seen for this app.)
