With just days before Christmas, we highlight three Mac deals for the harried, last-minute holiday shopper. If you have an iPod on your list, but you don’t want to cross that mystical $100 barrier, Apple still has 8GB iPod nanos for just $99. Not often does shipping make it into the headlines, but as retailers pull out all the stops to attract online sales, Apple still has free next-day delivery. But hurry – 1pm EST Wednesday is the deadline. Last on our top trio seems perfect for all those iPhone owners out there: 80 percent off select cases for the Apple handset. (We also have a 50% off deal for iPod touch owners.)

The Apple Store offers the factory-refurbished, previous-generation Apple iPod nano 8GB MP3 Player in seven color choices for $99. (With free shipping via next-day delivery, that’s $11 below the lowest total price we’ve seen for a new unit.) Sales tax is added where applicable. All refurbished iPods carry a 1-year Apple warranty, the same as new iPods. Items are removed from Apple’s site when sold out.

Also of note, the factory-refurbished Apple iPod nano 16GB MP3 Player, available in eight colors, costs $129 with free shipping, another price low.

PC Micro Store knocks 50% off select Apple iPod touch accessories via coupon code “Dealnews50%Touch”. (With free shipping, it’s one of the best discounts we’ve seen on these items from PCMS.) A best bet is the 2nd-generation Lux Screen Protector for Apple iPod touch (pictured) for $3.48 after discount. Coupon expires after 500 redemptions.

PC Micro Store offers this Skin for Nike + iPod Running Sensor for $7.90. Coupon code “Dealnews50%NikePlus” cuts it to $3.95. (With free shipping, that’s $4 off and the lowest total price we could find.) It features silicone construction and is available in 11 colors (grey pictured). Coupon ends after 500 uses.

(That’s $50 below our November mention and the lowest total price we could find.) Buy.com offers Smith Micro’s Anime Studio Debut 6 for Mac or Windows, model no. ASO60HBX2, for $19.99 with free shipping. (Although that’s $5 over our Black Friday mention, it’s the lowest total price we could find by $6.) This software helps you create 3D movies, cartoons, anime, or cut out animations.
