Craigslist Ad: Wanted, Steve Jobs Look-Alike
4:00 am, February 9th, 2010, Leander Kahney

Someone is looking for a Steve Jobs look-alike, like this guy, who was snapped at the San Francisco Dyke March in 2008 by photographer/comic Heather Gold.
Someone is looking for a Steve Jobs look-alike for an “impersonator event” on Friday and Saturday in San Francisco’s SOMA — the area around Macworld.
The actual job isn’t specified, but looking like Steve is important, of course, but so is “punctuality.”
“If necessary, we can provide a black turtleneck and glasses,” the Craigslist ad says.
Pay is $100 a day. Wanna bet it’s handing out Gold Club flyers?

Need a Steve Jobs lookalike (SOMA / south beach)
Looking for a Steve Jobs lookalike for an impersonator event on February 12th and 13th. To be considered, you must resemble Apple CEO Steve Jobs (bonus points if you can nail his signature outfit and act like him as well). Please attach pictures if interested (no pictures of your profile, just a simple full faced photo, and if possible, a full length body shot). If necessary, we can provide a black turtleneck and glasses. If we feel you’re a good fit, we’ll call you in to meet you. We’re willing to pay $200 for both days (works out to be about $100/day). We’ll need you from about 10:30am until 4:00pm. Punctuality is important.
