Monster Releases New Tron Inspired Headphones and iPhone/iPod Dock
LAS VEGAS, CES 2011 — I guess a strange product collaboration with Yao Ming was somewhat entertaining to hear about (don’t you want Yao Ming headphones??), but my ears didn’t really perk up until Monster brought out their Tron inspired iPhone dock and headphones.
Monster has been expanding their product offering lately with new audio products like earbuds and headphones, and I have to say that, though I was a sceptic, I love my Monster Turbine headphones—they’re the best sounding earbuds I’ve ever heard. So it was cool to see these slick new Tron-lit-trapped-inside-a-computer looking additions. I love the aesthetic of the Tron universe, and if these products sound anywhere near as good as my Monster earbuds, Tron Guy may have finally found the perfect cradle to lay his iPhone in at night.
