AirPlay Comes To Windows Thanks To AirMedia Player

In defiance of Apple’s will, you can already stream AirPlay media to your Mac and Ubuntu… and now, if you’re on a Windows machine, the trifecta is complete.

The new software was made by developer Apostolos Georgiadis (a Greek, we’d hazard to guess) and is c alled AirMedia Player for Windows, and allows you to stream video from your iOS 4.2 device to any Windows machine running Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, providing Bonjour for Windows, Quicktime and Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 SP1 are installed.
