Make Posters On Your iDevice With Phoster [Review]

Phoster is an interesting new app for designing posters and cards on your iPhone or iPad.

It comes with a decent selection of 37 templates, into which you slot your text and images. Very much like the layout templates in Pages, if you you’ve used them.

Although you’re restricted by the boundaries of the templates, you have relative freedom within them to express yourself. For example, you can change font colors, but not styles.

Once you’ve completed your design you can export it to the Camera Roll, or send it straight to Facebook, Tumblr or Twitter, or via email.

I’ve not been able to test the quality of printed posters (you should see my printer – hopeless doesn’t even come close) – so if any readers have tried this app and tried printing the results, it would be good to get your feedback in the comments.

So far this initial version of Phoster is a good start, and I look forward to seeing what they add in future updates.
