Apple CEO Tim Cook saw his approval rating among employees dip considerably in 2017, based on a new survey that ranks the world’s top CEOs based on employee reviews.

Cook has consistently placed high in GlassDoors annual CEO rankings usually falling in the top 20 and sometimes cracking into the top 10. But for the first time since Glassdoor started its rankings, the Apple CEO is nowhere to be found in the top 50.

The top spot of Glassdoor’s 2017 rankings went to Clorox Company CEO Benno Dorer who had an astonishing 99% approval rating among employees. Notable top 10 CEOs included NVIDIA’s Jen-Hsun Huang, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg at number 10.

Dropped from the top

Tim fell 45 spots in the rankings below his 2016 results when he took the eighth position. His approval rating is still pretty high though at 93%.

A representative for GlassDoor told CNET that Cook’s absence from the top 50 shouldn’t be worrisome. Just making the top 100 is an elite task.”For comparison, the average CEO rating is 67 percent, based on 700,000 employers on the Glassdoor site,” GlassDoor’s spokesperson said.

Even though Tim’s ranking dropped, he’s still doing better than other top tech icons. Jeff Bezo didn’t make the cut thanks to his 82% approval rating. Recently ousted Uber CEO Travis Kalanick was also a no show in the rankings with a 77% approval rating.
