iWatch Concept Design Makes Our Hearts Patter

iWatch Concept Design Makes Our Hearts Patter

ADR Studio, an Italian design house, posted this great render of what an Apple iWatch might look like. It’s just a concept design, but I’d buy this product: think of what Apple could do with it!

For one, the iWatch concept realizes the promise of Microsoft’s own SPOT operating system in that it would bring widget-distillable information to your wrist in the form of apps. You could pair it with Bluetooth to your phone to display incoming calls, instant messages or text messages. An iWatch could also pretty much replace the iPod Shuffle and Nike+ for joggers: strapped around your wrist, it could easily keep track of the distance traveled or your heart rate.

Wishful thinking? Definitely. But I still want one, and think Apple should make it: if Cuptertino’s ultimate goal is for everyone to have an iDevice on them at all times, no accessory is as ubiquitous as the wristwatch.

A watch that runs out of power in less than a week? No thanks.

This looks pretty nice! of course the only problem with owning one is that you would automatically be branded a mindless fanboy!

I would only buy one if I could tether it to my iPhone or Sprint Overdrive, or at the very least be covered under the same data plan.

It would have to be waterproof though.

Here are some stuff that should be included:
    -Fingerprint sensor (hopefully) for unlocking
-Turn by turn GPS (while plugging your BT earbud)
-3G enabled for more live informations (weather, mail, etc)

    VAPOR

no one is going to make this…it’s cute but it’s not practical

NO WOMAN is going to wear that big of a watch…and Apple makes things that are universal…never happen…but nice try

Surefire way to never get laid.

It looks like LG has already got something like this in the works, assuming it’s not vapor.

Make it bluetooth capable for head phones and gimmie at least 32 gigs of space for music, I’ll never take it off!

I used to own Microsoft SPOT Suunto watch a few years ago. Instant weather, news, messages and a couple of more widgets… At the end it was not worth it. Subscription was not huge, but I was not keen in paying it. Messages were truncated. The watch was huge (though many Suunto watches are). It was fun toy, but the whole concept failed. I wonder whether Apple would make it work.

Don’t be stupid. This has far to many buttons to be an Apple device.

    Apple iWatch Shuffle
Small microdot attached to a stylish arm band. It will display the time only when it senses you lift your arm and twist to look at it. All controls will be on a jawbone style earpiece, and can speak the time if you touch it and hold for a second.
It will play music, but no way in hell will this stream from anything, otherwise why would you buy an iPod?

    Shake to shuffle.

And will probably cost about the same as a good rolex.

? What do metrosexuals have to do with wearing watches? I can’t imagine Clint Eastwood tracking down a metrosexual to ask what time it is.
