The new Apple Store coming soon to San Francisco appears to be making decent progress. Leo Cheng snapped a nice photo from Solano Labs across the street from the new location and tweeted it at us. The store still looks like a hot mess, but the workers are apparently working on the glass doors for the entrance in this picture. Take a look.

Apple got approval from San Francisco back in March 2014 to start building the new flagship store. It will reside in Union Square at the intersection of Post Street and Stockton Street. This puts it right in the middle of all the action in San Francisco’s luxury shopping district.
The new Union Square store joins a few other Apple Store locations in San Francisco, one of which is the current flagship just a few blocks down the road at One Stockton Street. The others are Apple Store Stonestown on 20th Avenue and Apple Store Chestnut Street.

Wasn’t there where the old Joseph Magnin store was?
Levis store was there two years ago and Apple got them ‘bumped’ out. I was just there last week and asked someone what happened to Levis.
With all the other stuff going on with Apple, I completely forgot about this. Nice to see that it’s progressing well.
