Apple Watch has a known issue where it doesn’t exactly play nice with tattoos. For some wearers with dark wrist tattoos the device can’t detect if you have a pulse, but according to Conan O’Brien, it’s not really glitch if Apple can sell you a fix.
So far Apple’s only advice seems to be, “just don’t get wrist tattoos,” but the late-night TV show host has come up with his own hilarious way to fix the TattooGate problem.

If you’re injecting ink into your skin you have a bigger problem than not being to use an Apple Watch. “Think before you ink!” Think “Skin Cancer.”
Never been a huge Conan fan, but this just isn’t funny. The tattoo blocks the heartbeat sensor from working. How would a fake appendage that isn’t part of your body have your heartbeat available to be read? I know…I’m looking too much into it. But still….its just stupid.
It’s a joke; it doesn’t have to be realistic.
“So far Apple’s only advice seems to be, “just don’t get wrist tattoos,”” – as opposed to what? Magically create a new technology that can see through opaque ink?
