iOS 8.2 was released to the public over a week ago, and already, jailbreakers are champing at the bit for a jailbreak solution that works with the latest and greatest version of Apple’s new operating system. Now it seems as if TaiG, the Chinese jailbreaking team that cracked open previous versions of iOS 8 to the public, could release an iOS 8.2 jailbreak as early as today.
Tomorrow is the Mobile Security Summit, a conference that the TaiG Jailbreak Team is hosting in China. The list of people who will be attending is a who’s who of the iOS jailbreak scene, including Comex, Chronic and P0sixninja.
It seems like a natural place for the TaiG team to announce a new iOS 8.2 jailbreak, and that’s just what iOS hacker and security expert Stefan Esser (better known as i0nic) is speculating on Twitter:

Will an iOS 8.2 jailbreak be coming out of the Mobile Security Summit? With so many jailbreaking brains under one roof, it certainly seems like a good venue for an announcement of that nature. Then again, with iOS 8.3 right around the corner — and iOS 8.4, which will allegedly feature a new Music app, rumored after that — it might make more sense for TaiG to keep its exploits close to the vest. At least for now.

You need a life man, it’s a phone OS, one YOU purchased knowing its limitations! Why in the world would you have purchased an iPhone only to have to worry about a jailbreak? Any of you? I’ve owned every iPhone, I’ve jailbroken some but found no need in the last couple years …as its introduced more problems than helpful solutions not already present in iOS 8.2. Early years, Cydia did and offered a LOT of what iOS didn’t. Today, that’s not the case. Other than ‘pirating’, what’s the BIG deal today about having a jailbroken iPhone? They’re CERTAINLY no more stable and I would think that’s the number one concern of a phone owner!

Well it already is our right to have cydia. I understand your sentiments and agree with you partially but the thing is do you want the government to force apple to allow products in their private store and if you do you would be advocating the goverment choosing what is allowed and not allowed in other peoples or corporations stores . Thats where i disagree with you, forcing a company to carry a product in their store isn’t right. Now when it comes to putting cydia or any other service, product or store on my property i.e.. the iPhone that i bought thats where i would agree and so did a federal appeals court. Should a physical apple store be forced into carrying hp, dell and windows products? I hate all this jailbreak BS now. One fucking tweak bricked my iPhone and I had no choice but to restore to an earlier update. Now this news that It won’t be a jailbreak. All the tweaks I’ve purchased, all the time invested, and apple disappointments with not letting the customer customize there product how they would want it. ITS ALL BS. 8.1.2 Cydia never worked well. The apps never installed or worked. Copy paste is bugged. TinyUnbrella ShSh is patched well. Emulators are patched. Bummer Folks. It could be a while. Jailbreaking is a harsh, time taking method that requires knowledge and concentration if the Pangu team and the TaiG team have been taking a while is do to the fact that if they release an unstable version of the ios 8.2 jailbreak it could cause great damage to you IOS device the best thing to do is to wait until it is fully tested and functional, it is only logic to prefer a stable Jailbreak rather than an unstable version that could mess up you´re device.
