It’s been over a decade since the last time Hollywood took us to the magical world of friendly and fun dinosaurs, but the first trailer for Jurassic World has been released, and from the looks of things, everything’s changed and yet nothing is different at all.
The park is open and humans are back on the menu. Chris Pratt is all over the first trailer, playing a genius paleontologists brought to the island to investigate the disappearance of a genetically-modified super dinosaur, created by Jurassic World’s air-head scientists, who obviously didn’t learn from the past three movies.
Watch the full trailer below:
We’ll get to see who survives the wrath of the “highly intelligent animal” when Jurassic World hits theaters on June 12th, 2015.

The CGI at the end with CP on the motorbike being outrun by velociraptors reminded me of the CGI in the last Indiana Jones movie. In other words, crap.
CultOfMac is getting more like CultOfWhat, two pieces on Ur Ass ic Park in two days, a gallery with movie titles, and ads disguised as a deal, hmmmm
Another slow news day
Thank you for the story. Unlike some of the rude, or failed attempts to be clever in this thread it’s nice sometimes for a little something different.
this is an ad – a paid product placement – and you show up to defend it as “a little something different”. Hope you enjoy next week’s ‘story’ on the latest breakfast cereal which everyone is raving about.
Here’s the thing.
If there’s a story next week, such as you have predicted do you know what I will do about it? Complain? Whine? No, I’ll move on to the next story and ignore it.
No one forced you to click on this page or supply a comment. I’m pretty sure Cult of Mac can post what they like and when they like it.
Move along if it bothers you so much.
Sorry complainers. Every story on CoM doesn’t have to be about Macs or iOS devices. I check CoM every day several times to keep up on the latest Apple news, so this is the first time I’ve seen this trailer. It’s perfectly OK to add trailers like this to CoM. It’s a news tidbit for many geeks who also love sci-fi flicks. Where’s the harm? If you don’t like sci-fi movies, DON’T CLICK THE LINK. Duh.
actually, it’s called “Cult of Mac”, so it kind of does. Otherwise, they might be accused of pulling in an audience on the promise of the latest Apple news only to serve that audience with unrelated ads and product placements in order to make money from the page-views. But that’s the way that 99% of the Internet is going – clickbait in order to serve page-views and sell product placements like this. So keep defending this strategy, and pretty soon half of the articles on CoM will be nothing to do with Macs or iOS.
I’m very sorry. Should you alert someone to the fact that you were forced against your will to read this article? If you were not I seriously do not see the excuse to whine.
