Apple mysteriously didn’t mention an exact launch date for the iPad Air 2 or the iPad mini 3, but if you pre-ordered your new tablet last week, it could be on your doorstep as soon as tomorrow.
Apple customers who pre-ordered the iPad Air 2 have reported on Twitter that their units are scheduled to be delivered as soon as October 22nd, with others scheduled throughout the week.
Pre-orders for the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 kicked off on Apple.com Friday, with units starting at $499. T-Mobile – which has the best iPad Air 2 deal around with $0 down – is set to open its pre-orders tomorrow. AT&T and Sprint have also announced their plans to start accepting iPad pre-orders.
The Online Apple Store currently lists shipping estimates for both new iPads at 2 – 4 days. Apple has not announced when the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 will be on display at stores, but it’s mostly likely that Apple Stores will add the new models to tables later this week.
