“24′s” Jack Bauer to get Apple Tablet?
Fox’s24 hase never been shy about having its constabulary of terrorist smashers whip out the hottest new gadgets, but it looks like the production team isn’t even willing to wait for Steve Jobs to actually announce the Tablet later today before writing the device into the show’s seventh eighth season.
Rodney Charters, the director of photography on 24, tweeted yesterday:
Hmmmm looks like we may get an iSlate into [Jack Bauer's] hands for Ep 20 getting giddy with excitement
He then continued:
Got a bit too excited probably more likely Episode 22 but Apple provided fingers crossed
Once the story hit, though, Charters backed off a bit… but not without issuing forth a stinging indictment of the “geeks” who were interested by his Tweets:
