Today at 12pm PST we’ll be giving away 100 licenses to BumpTop for Mac.

We’ll post a link on the official Cult of Mac Twitter and Facebook pages to a secret site where the first 100 to enter their emails get a shiny new license for BumpTop for Mac valued at $29.

    Hi All,

    Just to fill you in on some information. About ten minutes before they “released” the link, which was the same as the other week. They changed the page to say all the licenses had gone.

    So basically when everyone tried to get their free code, there isn’t actiually one.

    I posted the link to this earlier on facebook, and it got deleted?

    Hmmm what a rip!

    Yeah…seemed a little too fast as I clicked on the link right as it appeared…but maybe it went that fast…

    I hardly doubt it, as all of this morning the page was exactly the same apart from it didn’t display the:

    “Sorry, Cult of Mac’s 100 BumpTop Pro for Mac codes have already been sent out! Visit bumptop.com/mac for more info!”

    Information in red, but when you put your email in it then said it.

    But 10 minutes before, as i had the link ready the page changed to say there were no licences.

    So the only explanation is either 1 of 2:
    1) There were also 100 other people with exactly the same intention’s of me and had the link used from the last release, and therefore were able to get this before everyone else.
    2) This was a huge advertising drive, and there actually no license available

    I know what seems logical to me, but i’ll let you all make your mind up.
