The rumors swirl that when Apple unveils the next iPhone in September this year, it will boast a much larger screen. But what would a thinner, 4.7-inch iPhone with a 1080p display, upgraded 10-megapixel camera, and a 9% thinner enclosure look like?
According to this concept by designer Sam Beckett, nearly identical to the current iPhone 5s. Yes, it would be bigger, but it would otherwise have the same proportions, short of shaving a millimeter or two off of the side bezels.
If Apple does release a so-called iPhone Air, I bet this is how they will actually do it. It will look like a natural evolution of the iPhone line so far, not a major design shift.

Please stop calling these concepts. Concepts are released by the company, and are usually based in *some* kind of reality albeit a bit stretched.
This is a fantasy. It has no basis in any reality.
The iPhone itself is a real product, thse are just imaginings of what a future iPhone would look like…but then again, I guess a guy at apple making a penis shaped iPhone is more of a concept then this guy making a rectangle shaped iPhone.
Also, the definition of a concept is, “an abstract idea; a general notion.” So I mean, technically these too are concepts.
Slow news day eh guys.
Random guy/artist/designer comes up with a fictional rectangle, calls it iphone air, and all the apple centric sites go ga ga for it.
This is Hopeless, I hope Apple has something better to surprise us.
Just wondering if there’s real benefits apart form spec galore having display more then 326ppi?
