Did somebody send you a RAW photo file and you just don’t know what to do with it? Do you need to send your latest DSLR shoot from your Dropbox, only your friend/family member/client can’t be trusted with RAW files, and you only have your iPhone on hand?

Fear not, becasue the already awesome CloudConvert will now turn any RAW file into any regular image format, in the cloud, and save it back to the cloud for you.

I’m a big fan of CloudCovert. I don’t use it often, but it’s there when I really need to turn one thing into another thing. And sometimes it’s even easier than using a native app on the desktop, especially as the service can read and save directly to and from your Dropbox.

Now you can point the converter at pretty much any RAW file (here’s a list of supported formats and turn them into JPGs, PNGs, PDFs, TIFFs, PSDs or whatever. The list is a long one.

Like I said, you won;t be using this for every RAW image you need to turn into a picture, but when you need it, it’ll be priceless. I have CloudConvert set as a bookmark on my “new tab” screen on my iPad, just in case.
