Cult _of_Mac_CES_2014_80x80LAS VEGAS, CES 2014 – For those with cardiovascular issues, keeping tabs on your blood pressure and heart-rate means spending extra time and money going to the doctor’s office for frequent check-ups. To cut down on the trips to the doctor, Qardio is releasing the QardioArm – a wearable blood pressure band that is completely integrated with iOS.

Most blood pressure monitors are boxy and difficult to use, but QardioArm offers a solution that’s easy to carry around and pretty much runs itself. Rather than fiddling with confusing buttons on the physical product, QardioArm is completely controlled from an iPhone. Simply wrap the band around your arm and load up the app to start a test on your systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

All your data is tracked in the app with easy-to-understand charts so you can see your progress and make healthier decisions sooner. It makes health monitoring easier for doctors too by collecting blood pressure and heart rate data and uploading it to a secure server that your physician can access to evaluate your condition remotely.

Other features include the ability to setup reminders, share data with family, and there’s even a Relax feature that displays a slideshow of your favorite holiday and family pics to help calm you down during testing.  At $99 QardioArm isn’t available in the U.S. quite yet, but you can sign up for pre-orders today on Qardio’s site.
