Calvin & Hobbes Comes To iBooks

“It’s a magical world, Hobbes, ol’ buddy! Let’s go exploring!”

If you’re a comic lover, the world of iBooks just got a little bit more magical, as Bill Watterson’s classic comic strip about a boy and his stuffed tiger has come to Apple’s e-book store.

Announced yesterday on Twitter, Apple has now posted an official Calvin & Hobbes iBooks page, where you can buy one of three collections of strips spanning the full length of the strip.

Those collections are:

The Essential Calvin & Hobbes

The Indispensable Calvin & Hobbes

The Authoritative Calvin & Hobbes

Each of the volumes is available for $12.99. If you love Calvin, Susie, Mrs. Wormwood, Spaceman Spiff, Hobbes and the rest, these are a great way to keep Calvin & Hobbes on your iPad.
