If you love the Amazon Video app on your iPhone or iPad all the more now that it can stream AirPlay video to your Apple TV, great news: a new update to the app has just made AirPlay even better.

While Amazon Video’s recent gain of AirPlay support was a major boon to subscribers of Amazon Prime, or anyone who buys or rents a lot of videos on Amazon, it had one problem: once you started AirPlaying a video, you couldn’t use your phone or iPad for anything else while it was streaming to your TV.

That’s all changed, though. The latest update to Amazon Video allows you to multitask while AirPlaying your videos. There’s also a few other minor bug fixes and iOS 7 compatibility tweaks thrown in for good measure, too.
