These UltraSuede iPad Skins Would Be Even Better On The Mini

SlickWraps really needs to get on the ball and make one of these ultrasuede wraps for the iPad mini. As it is, the regular iPad sized version looks great, but this non-slip, soft-touch rear cover has baby tablet written all over it.

Apart from its non-retina screen – which has seen me going back to the full-sized iPad in recent days – the iPad mini is almost perfect. And it’s so slim that it really shouldn’t be put into a fat case. But – as Columbo might say – there’s just one thing: it slips out of your hand pretty easily.

So this ultrasuede microfiber skin, which sticks to the back and adds almost no weight or bulk, would be perfect for the little tablet. I guess that a sharp knife and a straight edge would make short work of chopping a full-sized model down to fit, but not everyone is a DIYer.

If you don’t have a mini, or you just want one of these for your big, fat iPad, they’re $23 each, and come in all kinds of crazy colors.
