mwc2013bug-coaBARCELONA, MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS – Good news for iPod touch-owning photography fans. Well, apart from the great camera Apple finally put in your 5G device. Now you can also get in on the add-on lens action iPhoneographers have been enjoying for so long. Behold: the Olloclip for the iPod Touch.

Well, kinda. It’s actually the same old iPhone 5 Olloclip, only now the box contains a little adapter (as seen in the photo above) which lets you use it on the slimline iPod.

And that’s about it. The new iPod is now even better as a camera replacement. Who wants to bother with Samsung’s horrible, huge (and frankly ugly) Galaxy Camera when you can have the iPod’s superior results? Yes, the Galaxy has a proper big zoom lens, and a bigger sensor, but the iPod touch is, well, better in every other way – and now it can shoot macro, wideangle and fisheye pictures.

The Olloclip is available now, and if you buy the iPhone 4/S version, you get an adapter that fits the old iPod touch. Not that you’d want one – I have that iPod and the camera is an embarrassment.
