Now There’s A Case That Will Turn Your iPhone Into A LEGO Masterpiece [CES 2013]

CES 2013 bug LAS VEGAS, CES 2013 – I have an unhealthy love affair with LEGOs. They’re beautiful and fun, but also expensive. Have you seen how much it costs to build a replicate R2D2 and B-Wing fighter to put in your bedroom.

Smallworks isn’t helping me any either. They’re making iPhone cases that let you play with LEGOs right on your iPhone and morph it into any creation you can dream up.

The concept of the Smallworks BrickCase is pretty simple. It’s just like any other iPhone case, except it has little nubs that let you attach LEGO pieces to it. So it’s pretty much fifty times more fun than any iPhone case you’ve ever owned.

You can pick up a BrickCase online for about $25 right now. The only problem with the BrickCase is that they don’t come with a set of LEGOs that can be built into a T-Rex, Millenium Falcon, or VW Camper Bus, because – as Smallworks explained it to me – they’d have to earn LEGO Engineer accreditation and LEGO doesn’t think their cases are artistic enough. So it’s up to you to find the LEGO to turn your iPhone into a work of art, but if you’re like me, that shouldn’t be too hard.
